War Quilts

Intricately pieced, brilliantly colored wool quilts made during wartime by men serving in the British military were featured in an exhibit at the International Quilt Study Center and Museum this past summer. The unique display of 30 quilts was the result of groundbreaking research by Quilt Museum advisor Annette Gero. Gero has amassed a collection of 200 military quilts over the past 30 years.
